Just one night with my daugher. Room clean, bright and comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Arranged for early check in and kept luggage for couple of hours after check-out.Good selection breakfast - maybe a little expensive at €16 each ? Pool fabulous addition . very relaxing and trnquil after a busy day. Tranquil music to relax and ther is lovely terrace to have a drink and enjoy the very. Lovely hotel to stay at and location fabulous. We were abit silly and ordered taxi last minute to airport, other people in the same situation . One group had ordered night before and when it didn't turn up got quite irate. Manager at reception and lady working with him fantastic. Manager handled it all billiantly and we could see he just wanted to ensure an arrangment was made to get everyone to the airport. He succeeded and managedany complaints wonderfully . We all got one taxi to airport and shared the bill. Manager -brilliant and great customer service. He really wanted to look after everyone and he certaintly succeeded in doing that, Total professional

The location was amazing in the heart of city overlooking the castle and the river. Very friendly and warm helpful staff, at front desk and breakfast room. The building is old but very clean and looks well maintained. The scramble eggs were delicious at breakfast. The Maitre D found us luckily a table by the river. It was absolutely gorgeous despite the cloudy and bit raining sky. The stunning heated swimming pool and solarium on rooftop were fantastic. Even if a bit small it is enough to refresh and have fun. My 2 young girls love it! The front desk staff allows us to remain by the pool after checkout. This was very nice. The shower and changing room next to the pool was very convenient. Thanks to this, we could enjoy to visit the sanctuary in the morning right after breakfast and chill out by the pool before continuing our journey to Betharam caves and drive back home.

Very close to the Sanctuary & retail shops & restaurants The staff was very attentive & tried to solve problems right away. They are also very helpful & cheerful at the front desk especially Vanessa, Martha & Humberto ( not sure if I got his name right). The first room they gave me was in the corner & very dark. I asked if I can switch & I was given a bigger room with a better view. Also the room was next to the swimming pool which I liked because that was why I booked the hotel because I can use the pool. My suggestion is to have an earlier opening time of 7am or 8am instead of 9am for the pool for those who want to exercise early before breakfast. I was told the air had to be off & was told to open the windows. I told them I need the air on. It would have been ok at night but then the bugs come in.

We actually took an apartment for 4 of us but it slept 6. It was ideal for us but not for a mixed group. It would suit a family big bedroom with a king size bed and a good size single small sofa and lots of storage still plenty of room. Second bed room was a set of bunk beds and a cupboard top and bottom bunk had a light and plug socket. Living room had a sofa 3 chairs tv a high breakfast bar with six chairs/stools kitchenette had fridge freezer microwave hob dishwasher with a washing machine in the bathroom We could use all hotel facilities including pool. We also had a balcony with a view of the river. Very central location. Towels supplied. We just took the local bus down from the airport for 3euros which stopped just over the bridge from hotel/apartment 3mins walk.

Mary

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights, which was just next to the hotel. Booked in advance so it was good value for the numbers travelling. Brilliant for friends or families. We had the best view of the river from the balcony and from the rooms. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the crockery we needed. Great location, close to food outlets, transport etc. Lovely shower with good hot/cold water supply and pressure. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant. We had buffet dinner one night and it was ok. Breakfast was also ok. the rooftop was nice with some seating and the pool was also pleasant. Would recommend.
